Delta Upsilon International Fraternity is the seventh oldest extant, all-male, college Greek-letter organization in North America. It was founded on November 4, 1834 at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Though historically set at New England private universities, as of 2019 it had 70 chapters and colonies across the United States and Canada. A number of its chapter’s buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Indiana University chapter of Delta Upsilon Fraternity was established in 1915 when the Wrangler Society, established in 1902, affiliated with the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity. The chapter is one of the oldest and largest chapters of the international fraternity and one of the longest continuously operating fraternity chapters at Indiana University.

The Indiana Wrangler Foundation, Inc. is the charitable arm of the Indiana Chapter of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. The foundation receives, manages, and disburses funds that benefit the fraternity chapter and its members. The foundation is classified by the IRS under section 501(c)(3) so may receive contributions that are tax deductible by the donor; tax deducted contributions must be used for educational purposes.
